Is anyone interested in acquiring these collector albums? I have about 100 bound albums from all the classical masters. They are probably 50- 60 + years old in perfect condition. The labels vary from Columbia, Victor(Red seal) and Odeon. I also have some vintage Franklin Mint Classical Collectors Albums from the early 70's.
Let me know if you are interested.
Dave
The collection consists of Victor-black, red and blue labels, Victrola, Columbia along with all the great composers. The collection has 100's of records. All in binders and original covers.

Who can I talk with about finding out pricing of an old collection of 78 albums. The records seem to be in good condition some of the books they are in are not. Also better to sell seperately or in a collection. Thanks for any help.
Would anyone have any idea how to find the value of such a record? It was inherited from my Dad, he bought it in 1977.
Could you please give me some info about the value of personal letters written by Elvis? The events he talks about are SO shocking and disturbing; I just can't go into those details yet. These details are unknown to the world, but I've had the letters and some envelopes post dated from the 60s. I just don't know what to do with the letters. How do I find out what they're worth?
In addition, he mailed us baby pictures of Lisa Marie in their home. One photo is just a black and white picture from a camera; the other is a professional 5 by 7 of her at the age of 1 or 2, with a cheap plastic original frame and his writing on the back.
I'm not sure if I can find it but, I also HAD, at one time, a letter written by Priscilla Presley with her lipstick and signature at the end.
Anxious to hear from you,
Thank you.

2. Why do you think somebody who has spent the last 30 or 40 years collecting and learning about this stuff. I mean spending THOUSANDS of hours to learn the minutia of a rare .vs. a common record are just going to drop everything and tell you you have a valuable record?
3. Knowledge is power. I've spent a lot of time learning about a small area of record collecting - the stuff I actually like. I can tell you most generic piles of records from somebody's attic or basement may have one or two items worth more than $5.00. Most of them, especially your big band and MOR stuff (what your parents or grandparents bought, Patty Page, Glen Campbell, isn't worth anything.
If I find your pile of records and I look through it, I will probably pick out: Stuff I've never seen before but looks or sounds interesting. Stuff I know I will like if I don't already have 4-5 copies at home. Something I know someone else might want. But if it's in scratched condition with your name written on it, there probably isn't a soul in the world wants it.
Lastly, all your friends who tell you they think your records are worth something should make you an offer. Usually they don't know squat and they will give you more than it's worth...
thank you
Am just wonderin how much a walt disney vinly from 1959 n 1967 they are Dumbo n the jungle book??? please get bk to me asap x

My family is having an estate sale to raise money to pay for my grandparents’ medical bills. He had an ENORMOUS record collection. Over 4,000 45’s and over 7,000 33’s and 78’s.
The auction is tomorrow night (Friday the 12th) I believe you can call in your bids to the auction house if you don’t live near by.
Take a look at the website for more details and pictures of the massive collection

( the record store on the show was in the village and on John St. I think) mentioned it was a good one to have! I found your website and have realized that indeed I have the on in stereo just like the one you show! I was wondering if I should insure it or something? Its my moms and she wants me to hang on to it ( as do I) for sentimental reasons. We were wondering how much it would be valued at approximatly? It still has the plastic wrapper on it! Thanks!
Its called 'original sun sound of johnny cash'. it is a sun record from memphis tennessee not the london record
Can you give me any info on this or where I can find more info.
Thanks!
