MySpace Background Music

So you want some cool background music for your MySpace page? Well what are you doing here? If you type in "myspace background music" in a search engine you will get a ton of results. Most of which are garbage. The reason for this is because all the music that you need is already on MySpace...for now.

Unfortunately with the RIAA cracking down on copyrighted material in MySpace it may become harder to find the tunes you seek.

As obvious as this should be to everyone, the best place to find MySpace background music is at the source. Simply click on the music tab in myspace. Click on any of the artists and then "add" and it will add it to your MySpace music player rotation.

This is another no brainer. If you want to share a song that you can't seem to find on MySpace but have in your own collection you will need to take a few extra steps. This will require you to upload your chosen Mp3 files to a remote server. This can be your own or a free file sharing space on the web.

Using your own Mp3 collection has a few distinct benefits. First, you have exclusive control of what songs are playing as your MySpace background. Second, you won't have to worry as much about the link dying. This is especially true if you have your own server space. Third, you will have a cooler Mp3 player. This will surely impress your visitors and also allow them to explore more of your favorite songs with an easy to use playlist.

Independent Mp3 Sites

There are tons of free to use independent music sites on the web. If you are willing to spend some time searching through all the crap you might find something you really dig. Sometimes you can even find some mainstream free tracks as well on these sites. Remember, supporting independent music is not a bad thing. Haven't you heard enough fergie?
